You have done Beautifully, Now let me take it from here!!!

After several miles of walking, when you actually hear this, it feels as if a burden on shoulders just melted away, suddenly night and day starts

making sense again, the reason which faded long back under the pressure to reach the goal starts sketching itself again.

As it is said "No sky is heavy, if the heart be light"...

Our team of 40 people are no different from you, We just met with this idea in our head, a spirit to be the change, and a strong willed heart to do the same.

This journey is coming closer to it's destination and suddenly time is ticking twice it's pace. 

Once upon a time I heard two guys saying: "The world used to be a bigger place," 

and the other one replying to it: "The world's still the same, There's just less in it."

I believed in these wise words till I stumbled into a Journey with an amazing group of Sailors.

This ship is unique, in having numerous captions and the wheel is always navigated by new ideas.

As each day is passing away and we are getting comfortable with a certain set of things in our plate, the nature conspires and again something falls out of the place, someone chooses a corner, sometime leading things into haywire and then something new falls on our plate to make it all a feast, someone knocks the door to show the way, and the race of time again start with a smile!!

Today I can write, because someone there believes in what I believe, They are doing what has to be done, and asking me to do the same.

Today I can say the world is much more than your daily newspapers and warning messages and patronized banners. I saw a new world!!! 

Today I realise the purpose is not  the destination but the journey itself!

This journey is more than the name game, and the competition which airs  from the moment a toddler tries to stand up. a bond beyond benefits, a party with no effects and a silence which rests....

"The day is done; the stars are bright;

The leaves are still ; the moon is white!

The wind is soft ; the river deep;

The trees are tall; the birds do sleep!

Laugh at woe and laugh at foe,

the hour has arrived for joy to reap!"

Why are we Doing this?

Why are we doing this???

From February to March when we were inside the well, talking to like minded people and are fellow participants, we never faced this question, but now Since March, since we are marching everywhere with our Flag, we are asked this question by our well wishers as well as others!!

When we say nothing, the one eyebrow raised expression with R U SURE, on the face becomes clear!!

Lately unconsciously even I started thinking, SHIT!!! man 1 month of work and what will be the outcome??

Why are we doing this? will I get a new job? or we will get loadss of Contacts? or will we get to know lot of HI5 people...

Well then a small voice, which apparently was the dictator for this whole thing whispered to me certain mind boggling Questions, So I thought why not archive the source of Madness?

B:Why do we do a regular job? 

W:to get a salary? 

B: why is the salary so Important? 

W:Lol!! r u kidding man, I'll ask you the same question when you'll be asking money from somebody. !!! 

B:No I want to know the immediate Driving force behind it.!! 

W: To get security in life, to support our Family.

B: hmm, that is very Important, and what do we do for that everyday?

W: work and more work, and then on weekends get drunk and the stress Bursts!!

B: So totally not bothered about anything else??

W: I don't have time after all this...

B: well!! then for a change I am bothered, I am bothered how my culture is being sold in foreign Markets,

I am bothered when we talk so much about Culture and hardly know any, I am bothered how we are ready to kill our people just because we have different ideas,I am bothered about the state of my nation, the dalits who are mistreated, the rising price of gas, how our own people have so less respect towards their own land and so much for the other side. I am too much bothered for my age, I'll say.

So I want Artists: who time and again has expressed their pain on the current state through various means, People who are key in archiving History, to come together, not for money not for hidden intentions, but strengthening our Time with Art!!

W: Well!! don't cry after that if you have to borrow money from here and there,and if another year is lost 

B: I won't, and I have few fellow travellers who thinks alike
W: wasting yours and other's time!! all I can say go and Have Fun!!
B: We will!! and bring a Revolution!!

INTRODUCTION

Twin City Theater and Cultural Festival 

Twin City Theater and Cultural Festival is an effort by young artists of Hyderabad and Secunderabad to bring Theater, Dance, Drama, Music, Photography, Painting, Poems and Poets on a common platform .

This 6 days Festival, will be held from 26th March to 31st March.in various venues like Lamakaan, Mocha, Rock Castle ,Roots, Our Sacred                                                                                     Space and EFLU.

All the places are in collaboration with the Festival, which means we bring the Festival and they give us the Venue.

The Festival wouldn't have been possible without:

Ashhar Farhan (Lamakaan), Vikas(Mocha), Poonam(Rock Catle), Roots (Mallik), 

Nayantara(Our Sacred Space).They extended their help not only in terms of space but were always open

to new random ideas brought forward by our bunch.

Ashar Farhan an all rounder artist himself supported our ideas wholeheartedly and guided us in each step.

Our Participants:

The Festival is about them, around them and for them. Since we wanted Art and not Money as the center

of our attention, we couldn't promise any remuneration to the Participants from our city as well as Participants

coming from other cities and states. Our Participants readily accepted our craziness and with the same energy

agreed to be a part of this Venture.This Venture is dedicated to them.

Parnab Mukherjee:

One fine day, Parnab mukherjee (his Description can go too long, so in short) An independent media analyst, art curator and a performance consultant by profession, Mr Parnab Mukherjee is one of the leading alternative theatre directors of the country,after his play Tagore Now!! decided to have some tea and watch Mandela with few other young mind in Hyderabad.(at that moment young mind happened to be me,i.e Sneha  Mukherjee and Krishna Shukla).
The plan somehow got converted into a overnight chit-chat about almost everything related to Theater and Travelling.
Through the discussion the Idea of Festival was born, and as any good Journey invites like minded travellers, this Festival got enthusiastic, art-minded people together.

Last but not the least The Organizers and Volunteers
Every one Unique in their own approach , cooked their Festival in their own way, and should tell you, It is smelling awesome!!
It's a destination, and each step of each traveller counts.!!
